THANK YOU!

 

When I was awoken the early hours of Sunday morning by the pelting rain, clapping of thunder and the most incredible lightning show I have seen for some time I thought to myself - the challenge is on! It will take more than this to dampen our community spirit.

 

Despite the inclement weather with its mini floods, fierce winds and all it threw at us we took up the challenge and we met it head on with an amazing outcome.

 

On behalf of the organising team I would like to thank you the ‘runners’ and your families and supporters for helping make this event such an outstanding success.

 

Being our inaugural event, and hardly a runner amongst us except for Craig and two others nor anyone with prior experience in putting on a marathon event - the organising team did a great job.  I hope you enjoyed the experience and ‘our trail’. 

 

The work has not finished for us and we need your help.  We have a link to a SHORT SURVEY HERE which will not take too long to complete and would appreciate it if you could do so and return to us as soon as possible.  We need this data to help us plan for next year’s event. 

 

We look forward to seeing you back again next year – this time those who didn’t have the opportunity to stay over bring your family next year and make a weekend of it.  We are planning an overall weekend event.
