Cycling the O'Keefe is a great goal no matter your experience

February 28, 2017

“Cycling the O’Keefe” is a great goal for those less experienced riders and once they know how good the trail is they will continue to ride the O’Keefe.

This event builds nicely on Bike Bendigo’s monthly community rides and gives the casual and regular cyclist another aspect of cycling. I urge you to try one of the many different length rides in the event and enjoy cycling the O’Keefe rail trail, said Race Director Geoff O’Sullivan

Bicycle Centre Bendigo will be providing 2 ‘workshops’   prior to the event to teach people some basic skills to help out with minor repairs to keep them going if they have problems out on the trail and to also talk safety re helmets, lights and bike maintenance prior to going on a ride and what you may need to carry with you to get you out of a pickle.

They will also be at the event on the day with their van/marquee and hire bikes (10) to help out with small problems that may stop someone from starting the event.

Thanks also Bicycle Centre Bendigo, 5 lucky riders will have the opportunity to win a helmet and light – valued at $120.
